OUR STORY

Welcome to Heritage Hill Homestead!

We are Kelsey and Jarred Coy, the family behind our little piece of paradise in Beavercreek, Oregon, nestled in the beautiful foothills of the Cascade Mountains.

As fifth-generation Oregonians, our roots run deep in agriculture, family, and stewardship of the land. For us, farming isn't simply something we do. It's a way of life, a connection to our heritage, and a legacy we hope to pass on to our children.

Kelsey grew up on a farm raising and showing Texas Longhorn cattle, horses, pigs, and rabbits through 4-H. Jarred was raised breeding and caring for poultry, developing a lifelong appreciation for responsible animal husbandry. Together, we've built a homestead that reflects our shared love for animals, agriculture, and the simple joys of farm life.

Our two daughters, Avah and Bree, are an important part of everything we do. Both are involved in 4-H and play active roles on the farm, from daily feeding and animal care to raising, showing, and training livestock. Watching them develop confidence, responsibility, and a genuine love for animals is one of the most rewarding parts of this journey.

Our Passion

For Our Animals

At the heart of Heritage Hill Homestead is a genuine love and appreciation for the animals we raise. Each one is more than just livestock to us. They're part of our daily lives, our family's traditions, and the memories we're creating together.

Our greatest passion lies in our Valais Blacknose sheep breeding program. Known for their beautiful, curly fleece, distinctive markings, and wonderfully gentle personalities, these remarkable sheep have truly captured our hearts.

We are dedicated to thoughtfully developing our herd through careful breeding decisions that prioritize strong genetics, sound conformation, exceptional fleece quality, and calm, friendly temperaments. We believe in quality over quantity, with a focus on responsible breeding, long-term herd improvement, and the health and well-being of every animal in our care.

Alongside our Valais Blacknose sheep, we also raise Mini Nubian goats and Silkie chickens, each bringing their own unique personalities and charm to our homestead.

From welcoming newborns into the world to the everyday moments spent feeding, grooming, training, and simply enjoying our animals, we take pride in providing attentive, hands-on care.

Our hope is to raise not only beautiful, healthy animals, but also confident, well-socialized companions whose wonderful personalities can be enjoyed by our family and shared with others.

Sharing a Little

Piece of

Heritage Hill

Some of the greatest joys of life on our homestead come from the smiles, laughter, and unforgettable moments our animals bring to those who meet them. Their gentle personalities, irresistible charm, and ability to bring people together inspired us to share a little of that magic beyond our pastures.

And so, Heritage Hill Sip & Sheep was born.

Through our unique wedding and special-event experiences, we bring the charm of our beloved Valais Blacknose sheep to life's most memorable celebrations. From whimsical beverage service and beautiful photo opportunities to heartwarming interactions with guests, our sheep add a touch of countryside romance and an experience unlike any other.

For us, Sip & Sheep is more than a service. It's an opportunity to share the animals we adore, create meaningful memories, and bring a little of the joy we experience every day at Heritage Hill to others.

Because sometimes, the most unforgettable wedding guest has four legs and a beautiful, curly fleece.

Why We Do It

Heritage Hill Homestead is about so much more than raising animals. It's about family, tradition, and creating a legacy rooted in love for agriculture. Through 4-H, daily farm chores, and hands-on experiences, we're teaching our daughters the value of hard work, compassion, responsibility, and caring for the animals entrusted to us. Whether we're welcoming a new lamb, preparing for the show ring, or sharing our animals with others through Sip & Sheep, our greatest joy comes from the memories we create, the connections we make, and the opportunity to share a little piece of the life we love.
